The 2011 Yamaha Super Tenere is finally on US shores…almost. Yamaha hosted moto-journalists recently in beautiful Sedona, Arizona, where we were able to put the Tenere through its paces on paved roads and dirt. The new adventure tourer fast became a favorite of RoadBike Editor Steve Lita. Upright ergos and an all-day comfortable seat combined with good wind protection and a comprehensive instrument panel to make the ride go by quick. The Tenere (pronounced TEN-aray) has ABS, adjustable traction control, and two drive modes; Sport and Tour. Put a deposit down at your local Yamaha dealer today and you could be one of the first to receive his Super Tenere when they start arriving in the US in May of 2011. Read all about it in the March 2011 issue of RoadBike, where you can also enter our Caption Contest to win the matching Tenere Casio Watch.
