The Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Museum‘s upcoming exhibit, Indian Nation: The Indian Motorcycle and America, will be a celebration of Indian Motorcycle‘s re-entry into the motorcycle market. Beginning on Friday, March 28th and running through October 24th, the exhibit will feature 22 Indians and present the America-based manufacture as a work of art and will interpret Indian’s history up to now in addition to its responses to the Great Depression, World Wars I and II, and post-war American culture. Expect to see, among others, Harrisburg-area racer Bob Markey’s original 1940 Scout, a 1903 Indian (possibly the earliest original example), and an unrestored 1903 Indian in addition to period dealer items and popular culture references. The AACA is located in Hershey, Pennsylvania. For more information and to download the vehicle display list, click here.
